Forget the rest, use the best!
Bahia Sod:
One of the most commonly used sods in Florida. Slow Growth, which means less mowing and maintenance is required. Is light green in color. Drought resistant.

Floratam Sod:
Well Suited for Florida. Thrives in bright sunshine. Grows Fast. Dark Green in color. Chinch bug resistant. When maintained correctly, this grass will flourish on your lawn.  Must be mowed, fertilized and watered correctly. Like other grasses, the growth of Floratam is dependent on nutrient availability as well as temperature and moisture. We are educated and understand the needs of the grass for year-round health.

Bermuda Grass:
Ideal for athletic fields. With its specialized maintenance needs, however, Bermuda grass is not recommended for most homes. Common bermuda grass is drought resistant, grows on many soils, and makes a good turf if fertilized and mowed right.

Zoysia Grass:
Resistant to drought and acts like a native Floridian, it does not like the cold. Must mow often, every 5-7 days.
chance of it continuing to live. Grub worms are a Zoysia’s biggest enemy. To eradicate them, be sure to monitor the soil throughout the summer and fall, and if you see the pests, insecticide must be applied immediatly.
